What a day!

First off, Donny and I would like to thank everyone who was able to share in our big day. It was wonderful to be surrounded by so many people and so much love! To those of you who weren't able to join us, we missed you!

Wedding Attire

We've been getting some questions about what to wear to the wedding. "Should I wear a suit?" asked one friend. "Can I wear my crocs?" asked another. Our answer to the age old question is as follows:

Wear what makes you comfortable. Know that it's an outdoor wedding in Montana, so it could be wonderful weather, it could rain, or it could even snow. We suggest putting a rain coat and an extra layer in the car just in case. But seriously, wear what makes you comfortable. If that means suit and tie, go for it. If that means shorts and a collared shirt, fabulous. If comfortable is a skirt and top, that's perfect. If you love to get dressed up and are dying to wear something formal, be our guest. On a side note, please choose footwear that lends itself to the outdoor surroundings. The deck has grates to let snow through, so please leave stilettos at home...we don't want anyone to break an ankle!

Welcome

Thanks for visiting our blog! We plan to use this blog to give you information about our wedding, information about Bozeman and Montana, and then, after the wedding, we hope to keep people up to date on what we are doing. So, please check back from time to time...you never know what we will have posted!

Our Registries

Please know that gifts are completely optional, however, we know that people who do choose to give gifts like to have some direction…

We are fairly set-up as far as things for our home, although there are several things we would definitely enjoy having or be able to have fun with. So, we’ve registered at Macy's, REI and Target.

We also feel strongly that there are many other people who have much less than we do, and who could really benefit from financial support. As an option in lieu of gifts, we would be honored if you made a donation in our names to Eagle Mount, a non-profit organization based in Bozeman, Montana that provides therapeutic recreation to people with disabilities. Brittany has spent many hours volunteering with Eagle Mount, and the smiles, laughter, and “I can do it” attitude that Eagle Mount instills kids and adults is invaluable.

But really, just having you at our wedding celebration is gift enough. We are looking forward to seeing you all and to celebrating our marriage!
